Garcia & Grisman. This tape is a mix tape of the five night Garcia/Grisman run (5/7 – 5/11). The tape was given to David Gans by David Grisman for Gan’s Grateful Dead Hour program. The tape was subsequently stolen from Gans and put into circulation. Setlist and information courtesy of The Jerry Site.

Because it comes from Grisman the sounds is really good, loads better than the audience recordings of the other shows from this run that I’ve posted.

  1. Thanks! I’ve had this one for ages and it sounds great. I’ve only ever seen audience recordings of the whole run, but this mix always makes me believe there are SBD recordings somewhere for each show. Sure wish they’d show up sometime.

  2. t – I wont be posting any MP3’s very easy to convert yourself as there are plenty of free apps to do it (traders little helper and db-poweramp for windows, xAct for OSX, and audacity for pretty much any o/s) —

wang Dang – since parallel downloads are possible for free on MF I have been doing it that way for a while ( many of my posts are just like this, this must be the first one you’ve grabbed on mine maybe?)- there are no good free programs (that I can find at least) to create split archives on OSX so this is the easiest way for me to get the goods to you in a reasonable fashion
