– At least one other really nice master of this show, taped by Ohr Weinberg, circulates on CD. I thought I’d add this typically great Cohen tape into the mix.
– The show is pretty outrageous. I like these versions of Catfish John and Simple Twist a whole lot, but it’s the tail-end of the show, from TWLWMYD (crazy guitar @ ca. 5:00), Deal (more craziness @ ca. 4:50), and Sugaree (wild fanning in the 7:00 range) that particularly stand out for me. The late show is solid but IMO doesn’t even
compare to this monster.

– d2t01 Simple Twist light pop @ 2:01

Note: Lineage is noted as best as can be recalled at this time… Major tape damage, most of Simple Twist of Fate was not repairable.
It seems like the mics were moved before the encore, the recording mix is a bit different. Patches from ID-18166; Simple Twist of Fate
first 10:46, Deal first :05 seconds, and Sugaree first :07 seconds. Thanks Jon Pasternak & Charlie McGuth for organizing this project!

AUD Source: Nakamichi CM-300’s > Sony TC-D5M. First generation cassette (made with Dolby B) used for transfer.
Transfer: MAC > 1C > Sony TC-D5M (Dolby On) > Realtek AC97 > Soundforge > CD-Wave > TLH v.220.127.116.11 (for SBE-OK, checksums, and FLAC compression) > FLAC, by Andrew F (September 2006).
Notes: This source is different from Shn-ID 10173; it has more audience noise, but a nice open room sound to it. No flaws noted.
Thanks to Johnny P for the cassette…ENJOY!
