Great show! Be interested to hear your version.
Thanks. I’ve always enjoyed listening to Bob’s Christian shows.
Classic!! Thanks Mat!
Cheers man, love seeing the Bob shows!
I’m pretty weak on eighties Dylan.
This looks like a good opportunity for a workout!
This tour is ESSENTIAL Bob!
Also anything with Mr Bloomfield is essential IMHO – As Bob put it, ‘It’s a shame that he didn’t stay with me for longer’ or words to that effect.
No Senor on this particular show which is a shame as it is fab on this tour, but a strong setlist and Bob’s performances on this tour are as strong and consistent as ’78, or ’79 for that matter!
In short this is probabbly the most under appreciated tour of Bob’s career. A lost classic in fact.
There is also a SBD of one of Jerry’s guest appearances on this tour. Can’t remember exactly which date but it’s in my archives. Also highly recommended is the 3 CD tour compilation ‘A Musical Retrospective’ originally on Doberman and then released again on silvers by Scorpio.
I thought this was a particular gem! The gospel “Blowin’ In The Wind is particularly special. Thanks.
Wholly agree, DylanDave. Don’t think I’ve ever been so (pleasantly) surprised by a Dylan boot.
Thanks again for sharing this, Mat.
