Sounds like mixing desk as no close up talking but could be audience.

I seem to remember a partial BBC Broadcast of this with only one Morrison track,
could be wrong.

Notes from the creator:

This is a collection of songs performed by Railroad Earth that were also
done by Jerry in one form or another; Old and in the Way, JGB, and Grateful
Dead. I put together this compilation in an effort to help expand a friend’s musical horizons.

The songs were culled from a variety of source tapes primarily downloaded
from the Live Music Archive. Where more than one version of a particular song was
available I listened to a few to pick the one with the best combination of
recording and performance. This was entirely subjective and not an
exhaustive exercise. Your mileage may vary. I tried to avoid the more
obvious selections like 4/16/05 when Phil sat in with the RRE boys, although
I did use one song from that show, GDTRFB, as it was the only version I knew
of (besides Phil didn?t sing).

I tried to balance recording levels, make cuts and fades so that the
compilation works reasonably well in the order the tracks are listed.
Obviously other combinations would work equally as well, or not.

tracks 1-15 are from torrent #344870.
track 16 is from torrent #333469, then pitch adjusted.

From the original uploader: Most of this was posted on Feb. 14, 2011 by barndoggs at dime torrent #344870.
I have balanced the right level volume to match up to the left side, removed short interruption gaps after when you dance, and tonight’s the night, spliced a short silent gap after “tired eyes”, spliced ending applause
to the abruptly cut end of Ohio (tape flip?) and cowgirl in the sand, spliced the tape flip in cowgirl (previously in 2 tracks), took the last track (tonight’s the night) from another source post (torrent #333469 posted by Babbo1 as a reseed on Nov. 30, 2010, previously seeded by Cyrus from an incomplete recording, of about 45 minutes) and speed adjusted it to match the pitch of this one, edited the end of “the losing end” so it would fit with it, and retracked several tracks because many of the tracks began with several seconds of tuning and/or silence.

this is now a seamless recording.

This version should be compared to the previously circulating
version to be understood. This one is slightly more complete
(the two takes of Goodnight Irene, here laid out at the start
of disc two, are absent from the other version). It also has
slightly clearer lineage, at least in terms of the analog-to-
digital transfer (John Kahn’s cassette to Ryan Shriver’s DAT).

In terms of sound quality, it seems a bit of a toss-up. The
other version had some noise reduction and other work done in
Sound Forge, and actually seems to have considerably more high
end than this version, which is considerably flatter and bassier.

d2t01 & t02 both cut in

Lineage: The person who I traded with to get this show only knows the following: he thinks it’s a SBD>CAS (a few gens)>SoundForge>CDRWIN.

I was delighted with the sound quality considering the dodgy lineage. This rehearsal is a wonderful glimpse into the genius of New Orleans piano king James Booker, bringing a new (Orleans) dimension to the JGB sound.
