    this is a good boot. Incidentally I recently constructed a ‘complete’ (all available) Newport 65 from best sources, using this, a couple of other boots and a newly surfaced acoustic version of ‘Tombstone Blues’ from the afternoon workshop (lossy @320 unfortunately, but hey!). Clearly not absolutely everything from that workshop has surfaced and I had to deduce (guesstimate) the song order, but it is still a nice thing. I will never understand why this seminal moment in rock history has still not received a proper official release. Maybe Sony are still hoping that more will turn up at some point.

    I’ll send you a copy sometime soon.

      1. there is a silver coming out very soon with Newport 63-65, 19/20 tracks, but no afternoon workshop recording of Tombstone Blues.
        Tried to up the back cover but failed, sorry.
