Notes from the original uploader:
Here’s the first show of the year from the current tour, courtesy once more of my good friend SPOT
Its not his only one (of course) so watch this space.

This is a SPOT recording (thanks again as ever) and the equipment used was: Core Sound High End Binaural (HEB) DPA 4061’s with Edirol by Roland R-09.

Notes from Mat Brewster
The checksum fails and I had some difficulty converting Things Have Changed. Had to first convert it to WAV and then to MP3. The music sounds good to my ears but be forewarned this may not be a perfect copy.

Note from the original uploader: Short but very well played show by MK and the band.

In italian radio customes the DJ speaks a lot in-between songs. His/Her purpose is to introduce songs with bits of bio and translate what the artists say, or to describe to radio listeners what’s happening on stage. But the songs, the actual music, are not spoken over in the middle of them. It has to be noted that italian djs are on the whole adviced to talk that much by the same record companies to prevent bootlegging.

Notes from original uploader:

This is another Muddy show I got as part of a large, multi-show folder at a now defunct, hobgoblin of a tracker. Many of these shows seem to be lightly circulated, mostly via etree trades, and I’ve not seen them on BT trackers. If you have seen them torrented before, I’d like to hear about it, please leave a comment. I’ve split these shows into seperate folders, and I’ve renamed files and added checksums and a new info text for each. Original info and EAC text files are included.

The following is a note on track 05 from this show’s listing at db.etree.org:
“still trying to figure out correct title – it’s Muddy’s hybrid of the Eddie Boyd ‘Look Over Yonder Wall’ and Howlin’ Wolf’s ‘Mr Highway Man’.” I will add the the “Mr. Highway Man” line was lifted by Wolf from Robert Johnson’s “Terraplane Blues”, and there are also elements of a song called “Highway 51”, not sure who wrote it, but I’ve seen it recorded by Bob Dylan and by “Spider” John Koerner. Otis Spann records this song as “Look Under My Bed,” onhis 1968/9 recording for Pete Welding’s Testament label. You’ll also hear some saxaphone before and during track 05, this appears to be an unsolicited contribution from an audience member.
