Notes from the original uploader:
This Jerry show has never circulated in any form – not even an audience recording.
According to the Jerrysite, they opened with Harder They Come. I cannot verify that
but it is not present on this recording. The only notable flaw on this recording
is a glitch at 8:32 into Russian Lullaby, during John Kahn’s bass solo with an
unknown amount missing. This is a mono soundboard recording that is very clean
considering the lineage.

After hearing this Rhapsody In Red over the Labor Day weekend, I had to have this.
It is truly off the hook with Jerry shredding up a storm! Check it out!
Thank you to Alan!

There are currently 5 disparate recordings documented at Lossless Bob.
This is an excellent alternative recording.
Unfortunately there is some background static on the first minute or so of
“The Man In Me” which I could not remove.
Trade cd-rs from many years ago > eac > flac 5 > y’all
I am not the taper….sorry, no further source info available.
As far as I am aware this recording has not been torrented in any form until now.

bittorrent download 01/13; different recording based on different crowd at end of d1t6;
in comparison LTB LB-1927 has a fuller warmer sound;
this is fuller and warmer sound than LB-8225 and LB-0885;
LB-4205 and LB-9156 have more hiss than the others;
(did not listen to all of this)

drop/cut between cdrs; has some spots of repeating ticking noises especilly noticable on d1t5

BOOTLEG: A Dying Voice Within Me
Thinman 072/73

Original Thinman CD -> WAV (EAC) -> FLAC (flacfrontend) -> You

Ullevi Stadion, Gothenburg, Sweden
June 9th 1984

Quality:
Very Good – Excellent Audience

From the original uploader:
Great recording of the Gothenburg 1984 show. As always, “Thinman” has copied a torrent – but I don’t know which LB number. (I had previously heard Gothenburg 84 on an old tape).
Performance: Very good – ups and downs all the way. I especially enjoy all the songs from Infidels, the acoustic performances – and “Love Minus Zero/No Limit”. Funny to hear the band not knowing how to play “When You Gonna Wake Up”….they simply have to give it up.

Please note that “Thinman”‘s amatourish production made the applause after “Like A Rolling Stone” a seperate track, so that “Tangled Up In Blue” begins at “track 7” (instead of track 6 – despite of what the artwork says).

Old habits die hard, but I think this is the last Thinman release I’ll buy
Hope this torrent will save other people from spending money on this label.

Artworks are included (I’ve corrected the date from June 6th to June 9th)

Enjoy….Erik_Snow
