Notes:

As of October 2010, this is the first source for this date (Sbd or
Aud) to circulate losslessly.

There is a guest pedal-steel player, according to Deadbase & jerrysite,
this is John Rich. Sugaree cuts in during Keith’s solo, about a third way
into the song. The first notes are clipped on Way You Do and Let It Rock.
A fifteen second drop-out at 1:03 of Tore Up has been cross-faded together,
then the recording cuts out altogether in the final verse near the end.

Deadbase & jerrysite list two songs after Tore Up, those being: Strange Man
and “Singin’ In The Band.” This latter song appears no where else in JG’s
performance history, so might be a mistaken entry from someone’s old list,
and could possibly have been Ride Mighty High, which was the common show
closer during 1976. This is the first live version of Tangled Up In Blue.

Here is the first show from the current tour, the first of many for the inexhaustible Spot.
I won’t say how many he’s doing as I think its a rather elastic number at this point, but there will
(hopefull) be many more. There will be gaps as Spot has to work (in the real world) sometimes to pay
for the essentials (you know, new mikes, replacement decks etc)
Placing Spots recordings on here the first time worked quite well, so encouraged by the kind remarks and thanks (as is Spot) we will be doing future tours. So enjoy !!

Spot and I thank you for the fine comments and thanks.
We have no issue with them being placed elsewhere, after a week, if we are credited and
would prefer not to see remixes, but thats up to you.

The tracking on this is screwball. The FLACs (and therefore the MP3s) are given track numbers that don’t always match up to what is listed here. I tried to fix them, but sometimes the artist names/song titles don’t match up either and after awhile I just gave up. The music is fine though – Mat

notes:

– I removed small amounts of extraneous material from d1t01& d2t15
– I also removed a number of small pops
– tape flip in d1t14 has been crossfaded
– this recording was very lacking in bottom end, I have used iZotope Ozone to remedy this as best I can
– noise reduction applied with Waves Z-Noise & Waves X-Crackle
– retracked with CD Wave
– seamless change between discs

comments:

Considering the age of this recording it has survived in remarkably good condition. However, there are tape problems on either side of the tape flip
