I’ve already run into a slight snag with Google Drive. There doesn’t seem to be an easy way for me to share multiple links. Last night I uploaded five Pink Floyd shows. In Google Drive I can highlight all five and tell it to give me a link. But the link it gives me is actually five separate links (one for each show) separated by a comma. If I try to plug that into my browser (in private mode so my login isn’t spoiling it) I only get access to the first show.
Amazon and File Factory both gave me a link that would automatically allow you to see all the shows I had highlighted. I’m not sure how to do that with Google. I tried creating a new folder, one I could upload shows into each day, then move them once the link was shared. But it only shares the contents of that folder. So once I moved the files out the link was useless.
If anyone has any ideas on how to share multiple links in a way that would work for me please do let me know. But for now I’ll just do this:
Pink Floyd – 1967-1970 – Effervesing Elephant
Pink Floyd – 1967-1970 – Melk Web
Pink Floyd – 1967-1970 – Unforgotten Hero
Pink Floyd – 1967-1971 – Complete BBC
Pink Floyd – 1967-1971 – My Head Kissed the Ground
Please let me know how this works for you. Copying multiple links like this every day will no doubt lead to some errors, and it is a little annoying on my side, but I think I can make it work.

Could you not just cut and past the links into the mail shot or am I being too simplistic?

Ah, I see. I thought Mailshot must have been some kind of new software or website that would gather a bunch of links and put them into one link. I think there is something that does that, but I don’t remember what it is.
The e-mails you get from me are actually just the posts that I create on the blog. WordPress (or some company that works for them) creates e-mails from them and sends them out. I actually have no idea how they work, or even how to edit anything from them. I just added the little widget that asks people for their e-mail addresses and it does the rest.
Oh and I’m always interested in more shows. Please do send me your list.

Hi Matt I am back home in Ireland now and as promised I have attached my trade list although with p2p I don’do much anymore.Its a shame I had quite a lot of cyber buddies around but mailing discs was expensive you might get a little overwhelmed with the list it’s pretty much outta control ha ha.
shows are listed month/day/year
Anyway take your time and anything you want you only have to ask.I don’t do cloud storage but I will make it work
