Pretty good recording, awesome stuffs. Almost all the songs are not complete, some fades in,
some fades out, some are cut, but it’s just an super jam !

          notes:
this is a remaster of shnid 17081

I haven’t attempted to do any additional work on the pitch problems
although Truckin’, in particular, is badly in need of some attention.
My interest was to try and improve the overall sound of the show.
I have done this by remixing the channels and then using various plugins,
in conjunction with Wavelab. Some minor artifacts have also been repaired.

          Thanks Agent67, without whom……

          per Deadlists:
The first 110 minutes of the recording are not too bad; thereafter the
sound quality deteriorates severely (the 2nd 90-minute tape starts with
Drums > Good Lovin’). Reportedly, the master was made by one
Mike Tannenbaum on reels concealed in a wheelchair at the center of
the 5th row (the back of the orchestra pit?) ; the first 90 minutes of
the tape sound consistent with this; during the 2nd tape it sounds as if
the taper perhaps got swarmed when the crowd got up & thereafter his mics
were muffled by surrounding bodies, but there are also other problems with
the second 90 minutes of this tape, among them pitch problems perhaps
caused by the deck bouncing with the dancing floorboards. Whatever the
cause, the quality of reproduction on the 2nd tape of this set is
          piss poor.

          Notes from the original uploader:
Great disc! The sound quality is exceptional IMO, it almost sounds like it was
          recorded in a studio setup.

The lineup is reportedly the following:
          Jerry Garcia – Guitar
          Jorma Kaukonen – Guitar
          Jack Cassady – Bass
          Mickey Hart – Percussion
          Spencer Dryden – Percussion

          Known Flaws:
A high pitched tone which was present on my CDR copy at roughly 0:12 – 0:23
of track 01 was edited out using EAC’s wave editing function.
A 1-second pause at about 14:19-14:20 on the master dt06 was edited out also using EAC.

Much thanks to Morgan Evans for putting this gem into my hands!
