a+ audio and performance! there are not many (any?) sbd’s of lowells last tour, and this is a wonderful recording.its was also my birthday show, though i was only 6, never forseeing the impact that this great (underrated!) singer/songwriter/guitarist would have on my life…..in dedication to the rock and roll doctor ‘2 degrees in bebop, a PHD in swin he’s a master of rhythm, he’s a rock and roll king’

This show was not in NYC. The Hard Rock didn’t open there till 1982. It was the Hard Rock Cafe ( later the Agora Ballroom) West Hartford, CT. Thanks for this rare show, and all the great music you post here.
