NOTES:
Iíd grade the Dominion show a B or B+ in sound quality. Although there are quite a few missing songs in the set, Iím not sure if the complete show is available among traders. Belfastcowboy.org doesnít have artwork for the complete show. If you have it, please share it. Thanks!

  1. Lovely stuff – great to have more Van from this fab period. I was at the Hammersmith 87 gig and have my own transfered uncirculated fm master of the broadcast which may be better (this is the first alt circulated version i’ve found). Incidentally this delayed broadcast is complete. I also have a FM master of another guest appearance with the Danish Radio Big Band (from ’90 I think) which I’ve never seen in circulation. I remember giving a copy to a trader back in the day.. This one is prob very rare as it was broadcast on BBC Radio 3 (a predominantly classical station) one saturday afternoon with very little announcement or fuss.
Van;s performances at the Dominion were legend back in those days, just like Rory’s were.
Anybody have the FM of the highlights of Van at Glastonbury ’91 – great stuff with a fab ‘Healing has begun’. Tragically I only have as mp3.
    Take care all
