Here we have last nights show with Neil Young & Crazy Horse.
This one was shared by Joe Burns and there may be other people working on this.
So there might be a couple different variant versions of this.
On this particular version I boosted the right channel +1.25 dB.
I also applied de-clapper between songs and minimized any loud crowd cheering. That’s it.

Neil Young & Crazy Horse – Melbourne, Australia (03/15/13)

Neil Young & Crazy Horse
March 15 2013
Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne Australia.

Equipment: Edirol R09 / Church CA-11 Cardoid Mics / Church PreAmp
Location: Floor (Standing), on the Rail, two Rusties to the right of dead centre, staring into the eyes of the Horse.. .
Sound Quality: PDG…Pretty Darn Good considering the position.

On the good advice of Warwick Curly Brown who has seen plenty of shows on this tour,
I backed my levels off and inserted the earplugs in anticipation of a loud show and am pleased I did.
It was extremely loud but I’m happy to report everything was captured perfectly.

Being a stickler for great sound, ordinarily you’ll find me as close to the soundboard as possible,
but there was no way I was gonna be back there when I had the opportunity to arrive early and be right up the front!
Sometimes sacrifices have to be made. But I don’t think you will be disappointed.
I’ve lived with the recording now for a few days and I am enjoying it more and more with each play through.

Slick Artwork included in the torrent.

Happy 50th Warwick Curly Brown!
No post processing, just tracks splits and fades… so you hear it just as it played out…
warts and all!
Share freely but never sell. Another Hbomb recording

    notes:

    • taped by Stringman
    • edited by rdvdijk
    • Levels are pretty ‘hot’ on this one, there is some minor clipping
here and there, mostly during moments of heavy guitar feedback,
for example in Hey Hey, My My and Like A Hurricane.
    • This is the 16-bit version
