  1. This is where I still get confused. The site where I get all my GD hook-ups still has this show avaialble and the entire run is still up on bt.etree. None of these are exact copies of the officially released recordings, but they are soundboard copies.

I’ve not seen any official word from the Dead about this, but at least unofficially it seems to be ok.

Still I think I’ll take it down. I did just create a list of all their officially released stuff and will try not to post any of it in the future. Thanks speedy for always keeping me honest.

  2. I agree with your policy – better keep on the safe side of things. Anyway, issued shows can be found easily elsewhere. The next two shows of this run are also on the Winterland June ’77 set, while the next show in the 1977 timeline (Sept. 9, Raceway Park) has been issued as Dick’s Picks Vol. 15. No matter – there are plenty of other great shows to mine! Thanks again for your great site.

  3. Hey Mat….somewhere along the way I was able to get the Winterland 77 set. Believe it was JJ before he went private. It was a ‘good’ bitrate of 256 but I am really happy to see this in FLAC. Hoping you haven’t pulled the 3rd link yet. I was able to get 1 & 2 yesterday. This dang work thing just gets in the way of the essential music I absolutely must acquire.
Appreciate you providing 1977. I look forward to many more treats from one of the years I spent in Germany.
    Peace,
    Ken
