I hope they put out an official DVD of this tour – supposedly it was an amazing show. Thanks for this share!
That would be amazing. Everybody said the shows were brilliant.
Thanks Mat.
I love all the old albums but I wasn’t really very curious
about these recent shows, for whatever reason…
But actually the show makes for a real emotional
experience. Kate is in fine voice but with the extra
kick, the extra edge of maturity and experience…
Also, I was surprised by the SQ – it is very good, clearly
an A minus at least. Plenty of presence. (This is based
on headphones/laptop listening). The dynamic range is
huge and well captured. I suspect the worst you could say
would be, it’s a little dry. I think I’ll burn to disc and EQ it
a bit to warm up the midrange and add some extra to
the upper bass.
Well worth the download. My only real complaint – I wish
she’d raided the back catalogue a bit more….
where’s “Them Heavy People”… “Wow” … ??
🙂
