  1. So this is more of a question for you than a comment. I’ve really been appreciating all of the JGB posted here. I have a reel to reel copy of the April 4, 1976 JGB early and late shows at Duke University. I have been told these shows are not in circulation. I was at the shows and got the tape within days after. My R-to-R no longer functions so I don’t know the exact quality of the recording. It may be an audience tape but I recall it being a good listen. Do you have the means to digitize this tape so it can be posted here? I actually tried to get Charlie Miller to do the digital transfer and then he put me in contact with Rob Eaton but Rob had too many other tapes to digitize and so it did not happen. Please let me know if you have the means to do this via the e-mail address I’ve given you and then we can figure this out. Thanks!

    1. Hey, Alan R. ~ I do audio transferring. I have several reel – reel machines and will gladly do your transfers of this tape, at no charge. We can thereby send a copy to The Midnight Cafe for posting.

    3. Alan, thanks for mentioning this reel. I can also help arrange a top-shelf transfer for circulation, feel free to email me (jgmfblog@gmail.com).

More generally, I am looking forward to visiting this site more – thanks for sharing!
