    For any Bob fans interested in this period (and IMO you should be) these Beacon shows are essential listening. Not heard this particylar source/transfer, looking forward to it.

    Masterful drumming as always from Christopher Parker. Bob’s best ever drummer, and particularly amazing during this period. Bob’s pulling the band from the front, Mr Parker is pushing everybody onwards from the rear in perfect time, and Tony is just rock steady as ever in the middle.

    A really inspired period from Bob. re-energised by the release and critical acclam afforded to ‘Oh Mercy’.
