  1. I have very fond memories of this tape! Back in the early 1980s, this was one of the few widely available, high-quality tapes circulating here in Europe. Also widely available is a fine video, professionally shot for TV. The long drum sequence was a backdrop for the Karamazov jugglers and does not translate well as an audio experience, while Townshend’s guest spot is OK but no great shakes. But there’s plenty of excellent stuff. Garcia seems to be in very good form in the first set: Sugaree, Shakedown and Althea are killer.
