    Another interesting 88 compl, seemingly picked mostly on sound qual criteria, being constructed mostly around the SBD rec of 19th Oct. The really ex qual SBD recordings from the summer 88 tour, Jones Beach and Orchard Beach (1 July) are superior to this. It is generally regarded (by me also) that the real performance magic is to be found in the early recordings of June and July. By this stage of the tour a little of the energy seemed to have dissipated
