HB copied his masters to bigger reels and later from the bigger reels to cassettes)
(this comes from GEDEBA’s collection who traded with HB in the 80s)

in 1972 the olympics were staged in munich and some great music was to accompany the event ( don’t think london 2012)

another presentation of the -open minded- olympic commitee resulted in an another tv presentation ( mahavishnu orchestra was on tv as well) and they chose ginger baker & salt

well ginger had his first gig after coming out of africa right there in munich..
the show has been up on dime before

  1. There was also a “drum-battle” between ginger baker and art blakey on tv at the olympic games in munich. I was very young when I saw this. After a while Ginger was really out of breath.
    By the way thank you very much for all your great posts.
