I have been going through my CD collection again. I found this Dylan show which I’ve apparently never posted before. I must have missed it the first time I went through my collection all those years ago. Unfortunately like most of my CDs I have no source info for it. They did come with several Phil Lesh songs from his set on CD1 (the second Cryptical through Franklin’s Tower I think). It seemed ridiculous to only post a few songs from the Phil set so I went on the Archive and found the rest of his set. The source info above is for the Phil Lesh show, not Bob. This does mean you get two versions of the last part of Phil’s set but I don’t imagine anyone will complain about that.

On a realated note I am trying to go through all my CDs and rip all Bob and Van shows, plus various other things that look interesting. So you can look forward to that in the upcoming weeks.

  1. Thank you for this! I was at this show. In case people don’t realize – Warren Haynes was playing with Phil. Derek Trucks was the other guitarist. The opening jams (to me it was 1 long jam) were excellent. My ex- wife was mortified. This was the worst case scenario in seeing this show for her. She needed more mainstream songs and anything but a 20-25 minute jam to open Phil’s set. Then Dylan comes on and opens obscure with I am the man Thomas and then Song for Woody. I was in heaven with the set list and again, she was mortified. I highly recommend this show.
