First converted the tracks to “ape”,
decoded now (2012-02-29) to wav with TLH.
Flac Frontend 1.7.1 => Flac in 2012 Level 8
MD5 and ffp with TLH
(55min+33min), slight hiss and some very light background crackle like rain noticable like on d2t3 and d2t4; very good sound [B]; background talking on d1t7; abrupt end/cut on d2t6
has small gaps between tracks; drop d1t1 0:00, drop/square wavs d2t2 3:15
legendary taper J
Sennheiser MKE 2002 -> cassette master -> DAT – clone ->(digital transfer) m-audio delta audiophile 2496

I did not harm the sound of the recording in any way
BOOTLEG: RINGO KID & THE GUNFIGHTERS; (Mainstream), Source: AUD, Lineage:Silver CD>EAC(secure)>wav>FlacFrontend(align on sector, boundaries)>flac, chi; bittorrent download 04/05;sam recording with very similar sound to version “a” with levels raised; this one does have some of the annoying chirping noise as on version “a” and some of these chirps have been replaced by a less annoying scraping noise; it is missing the digi-pop on version “a” d1t6; this one sounds sligtly fuller while version “a” sounds slightly warmer; very good to excellent sound [B+]; background talking d1t7
LB-7248, (55min+32min), Taper: Legendary Taper: D, Lineage: Sennheiser MKE 2002 >Sony WM 6 (Maxell XLIIS) >DAT 44.1kHz >, Hard Drive >wave convert to flac (dbpoweramp Music Converter) >md5summer; bittorrent download 02/09; same recording as sb LB-7146 based on same background talking at beginning of d1t6 which makes it different recoridng than LTJ LB-6551 which has different talking; in comparison this has a fuller warmer sound; excellent sound [A-]
has same lots of squeaking noises mentioned on some of the other versions; it is bad for first 6 tracks and then comes back lighter for d2t4 and d2t5 and then bad on d2t6
