Got this from my friend who went to this festival. He adds the following comments:
Bad organisation who declared the tickets and seat numbers invalid.So everybody could sit where they want. The problem was they only told that to half of the people that had seats. So lots of confusing
and some very angry people!
Lovely open-air venue but very hard to get out after the gig. Almost no lights on the way out and also some people had to wait 2-3 hours before they could leave from the car park near the venue.
Hey but that must be Summertime in England allright!
About the recording. Decent but a lot of talking people in the background. Assuming they only know Van’s hit singles.
However Van Morrison did what he have to do. Great festival set and performance ! Happy Birthday Van!
