“Rare Songs – USA 2001”
Compilation series from 2001 by LJK.
LB-8529
Notes are his.
This series features all the rarer performances from each leg of the tour. All the ‘one-off’ and less commonly performed songs are included. Songs performed (mostly) every night are not included. The songs have been re-assembled into approximate concert order. The songs have been chosen to be the best version from either quality or performance where several performances or recordings exist. All recordings are from DAT, none from Bootleg. All shows from each leg are represented. The songs have been ‘re-balanced’ for loudness so that the songs flow smoothly. The transitions between songs have been blended for smoothness as well.

Thank you Mat, I’m glad you like Bob Dylan too, I mean, really glad, remain safe and well, jim
It is interesting to me that this blog has really made me a collector of this stuff. I mean I collected shows before, but because of the blog I collect a lot more than I would on my own. There are artists I share here (The Who for example) that I like but would never collect. But again because of the blog I’ve grabbed a ton of shows and share them here.
I am a big Dylan fan and would collect his stuff even if I didn’t have a blog. I’m not sure I’d be after every single LB number like I am now. Its just fascinating to me how this blog has shaped both my tastes and to what extent I collect this stuff.
Thank you Mat.
