Bob Weir & Wolf Bros Announce Fall 2023 Tour

My secret admission is that I prefer The Wolf Bros over Dead & Co. And while the latter is now officially retired it is pretty cool to see Bobby still out there playing music. They aren’t coming anywhere near me, but if they are close to you I recommend seeing them.

  1. Wow, no hiccup at all in Bob Weir’s own shows, right after the end of Dead & Company, more than a dozen shows in September – that’s wild.

Man these guys just love to play. It’s pretty cool, the job they picked, where they just keep going and going regardless of age or money or any day to day concerns.

    I can’t say I still expect to be working when I am Weir’s age … although of course I know he’d say “I ain’t workin’ either, man! I’m having fun…” – I envy that.

Also, I am odd in that I prefer all solo/offshoots of The Dead more than The Dead.

    • Bob has to be in the running for the person to have performed the most concerts. Dude just loves being on stage.

I enjoy some of the post-Dead stuff, but my heart belongs to the real Grateful Dead.
