Two thoughts:
1 – There are days where I’d call “Silver & Gold” my favorite Neil album. So I love to see a show with a bunch of those songs2 – It bugs me that Neil left his wife Pegi Young for Daryl Hannah. Yeah, I said it! She raised not one but two of his kids with cerebral palsy whilst he was a rock star on the road … then, he left her very late in their marriage, for a movie star. It’s always bugged me. But, I still love Neil.
I have very specific and wonderful memories tied to Silver and Gold. I love a great many of those songs as well.I always wonder what happened between Neil and Peggy and it does seem strange that he left her for Daryl Hannah, but then again I really have no idea how their relationship was so I can’t really comment.
