After being rained out the previous night, this turned out to be an absolute gem of a show. Neil and the boys really lit the place on fire. This was the best Neil Young show I have ever attended. We had a perfect crowd around us, very respectful and appreciative. All the editing I had to do was knock down a couple close claps nearby during the acoustic numbers. My friend John and I tried to grab some vacant seats closer to the pit, but turned out that someone was upgraded and we got booted right in the middle of Cortez. So we did the walk of shame back to our seats. Needless to say, a couple minutes of the song was toast. So I patched in a bit of Mr Sifter’s fine recording to fill the space. It turned out very nice. This a wonderful recording of an amazing night in Tennessee, so crank it up!!
