It is hot here in Oklahoma. Darn hot. Too hot to do almost anything. What I want to do is go to the movies and sit in the dark with a big bag of popcorn, and a giant soda, and watch something big and dumb while the industrial-strength air conditioning keeps me cool.
Instead, I sat inside my overcooked house (with an underdeveloped AC unit) and chose a very not big or dumb-looking film for this week’s New Blu-ray Pick. You can read all about it here.

I hope you get some relief from the heat soon Mat, the UK has been far too hot for me recently.
Usually by the end of August things start to cool down a bit. I mean it will come and go well into September but I’m hoping in a week or so we may get some relief. I’m hoping.
My small town is starting to revolt. For whatever reason our electric bills seem to be much higher than all the neighboring towns. There has been a lot of talk on Facebook groups about demanding some accountability. I hope something happens as these prices are killing me.
Not to mention the stinking heat
