Strange given the significance of these gigs that they haven’t received a more recent, comprehensive and thorough reworking. The ‘Shining at Beacon’ boot was the ‘goto ‘ at the time, however i’ve never seen an upgrade, either commercial or private. Be aware that the bonus trax on that boot will be of inferior quality to subsequent releases etc. One track from this gig in fact, a curious twist of fate.
I’ve never seen a commercial boot of any kind for the final night (13th). Anyway I think the sound qual holds up, slightly better than average for the period, and the performances are too good and too significant to ignore.
