Word came today that R&B great Etta James passed away at 73 years old, I don’t have any Etta Solo shows uploaded (yet) but this set she sits in with The Grateful Dead on New Years Eve 1982 is a smoker. Look for 3 more Etta shows in the next day or so, all fantastic SDB recordings

    Speaking of “1969 jam madness”, did you get Dave’s Picks 10? Just finishing listening to the 12/11/69 highlights on the bonus disc. Hot damn!
    I have been hoping to upgrade my copy of 12/31/82 for a while now, so this post still makes me a happy leach!

    Yup even i need an occasional break from the madness! After hearing Thats it for The Other One 12/11 i needed to come down a bit. 82 was a hit and miss year, nice shoe here with a blues legend to boot!.
