Review from Brian Heffler:
Back cover In my opinion, this is one of the best sounding 70’s CD Boots I have ever heard. Moreover, the B&W Photo graphics on the covers are excellent.

Notes from Art Siegel:
This boot seems to be straight from the [out of print] Van Morrison In Ireland commercial video.

  2. This is a audio rip from the official live video. I think it’s a mix from two shows : Whitla Hall, Belfast; February 20, 1979, and
National Stadium, Dublin, Eire; February 22, 1979.

It’s short but some great version of Gloria, Cypress Avenue, Saint Dominic’s Preview.

One of my favorites to listen to.

  3. I’ve tried to download this one a few times, to compare it to the version I have, it downloads with about 103MB but when I unzip, it shows as empty. anyone else have this issue?

  4. Wow, that worked like a charm, Dan!

Mat, this is an incredible Van boot – would you happen to also have it in FLAC that you could post please? Thanks as always!

  5. Great post!

Another example of why Midnight Cafe is one of the best music blogs that survives on the net.

Thanks to Mat B and a blessing to his family

  6. Hello Bruce,

I really want this boot. But the ZIP doesn’t work correct. There are diagnostic messages for every file: the filename is incorrect. Can toy fix it?

    Thanks a lot!
