E: One More Saturday Night

Wharf Rat and Stella Blue were both corrupted on my disks. The Space track is only four seconds long so I’m guessing it was messed up to but its difficult to tell.

First thoughts on Zippyshare: The uploading is simple and pretty fast. Getting the links is simple though I do seem to have to open a new tab to do it, but that’s no problem. The URLs do not have the file names which as previously mentioned is rather annoying when I screw up a link and need to determine what happened. They give plenty of download information including a nifty little graph that will give me lots of information about what is being downloaded.

The biggest issue is that you have to split the files into 200mb parts. Thats way too small for big shows like these Dead ones. As you can see this one show got six parts for the FLAC. That is really obnoxious as an uploader having to split it like that and then to post all those links. I can’t imagine it is much fun for downloaders either.

I’ll keep using it for a few more days to give it a good try before I move onto the next one. Let me know what you guys like or don’t.
