NOTE from original uploader: from Seeing The Real You At Last it seems the taper have shifted position/most likely hidden the mics a little too well. From here on in the last four tracks suffer. All previous tracks are very good/excellent; through and through tape hissy though.
No LB-number;
although there’s one at http://jokerman.org.uk/lb/detail/LB-00769.html
The little background talking is there and truly gets to the foreground on d1t7, d1t9, d2ts, d2t4, but after being encoded to SHNs and compared against LB-0769 fingerprints, to the best of my ability I couldnít find that the tracks matched its wantonly list.
Mat are you 100% the flacs are ok themselves??
In the notes it sounds like channel balance was affected
for those tracks?
Love Minus Zero and She Belongs To Me almost
back to back… I wonder if that’s unique post 60’s….
I think you are right, Tony. The FLACs are screwed up as well. I get a lot of static on those two songs in the right channel that I initially mistook for sound. But there is really no music coming out on them. Oh well.
It’s Alright Ma, I’m only wondering….
Was listening to Cardiff 2002 the other day. Had forgotten how good
It’s Alright was in the arrangements from around this time… or could
be rather.
Got me thinking which are the best performances from 2000 to 2005
of this song?? (Pref uk).
Candidates should:-
a) not feature the crowd clapping along 😉
b) feature Bob remembering the words, or most of them
As a side issue: which year featured the arrangement where the band
whole back for the verses but then put out a very heavy, low down blues riff on
the instrumental breaks?
I thought it was 2002 but it wasn’t.
Suggestions welcome!
“whole back” ?
= hold back
Good questions Tony. Since this post is over a week old its likely no one will wind up seeing it. I’d ask it again whenever I post something new. And I will post something new sometime. Having enormous trouble with uploading anything, but hopefully I’ll have something soon.
Thanks.
Sorry to hear you’re having problems… I have a very short fuse
myself with anything computer related. Few things in life are
more frustrating.
Did you ever see the film Office Space?
Good therapy?
Love that movie. Hmm some random computer destruction might help actually 😉
