Oh the Dominion was a great place, never had the privilege of seeing Van there as I was a few years too late (he’d moved up to playing the Hammersmith Odeon and larger places too) however I caught Rory (R.I.P.) there a few times – Happy memories and a great place for a no fuss friday night blast

Narrow Dog – I know and love that site, but there are several good reasons why that particular album ‘never was’. Actually I really like the earlier Bang recordings, but when Van is in a ‘huff’ well ’nuff said i think!
He does such great work, just seems a shame to waste his efforts on that
I think this show has the single coolest setlist I’ve ever seen in a Van show, which is saying a lot. Half of Astral Weeks (including the title track, one of the most rare) – AND Haunts Of Ancient Peace, And It Stoned Me, Summertime In England, AND Tupelo Honey? Wow!
For real. And that’s a lot of songs for one night.
