  1. Interesting, I haver lots of shows from this era 90/91 on tape from trades around that time. None are particularly good recordings and none are 1st gen either. I’ve done raw WAV transfers but levels are quite low and sound lacks ‘presence’. I’m sure anyone who traded AUD tapes at the time will understand what I mean. However I saw Van many times in this era also, so I’ll be looking forward to checking this out to see whether the excellent Mr JTT has come up with anything interesting

    Cheers Mat

  2. Actually, thinking about it this date seems familiar, sure i have a trade of this show squirreled away – I’ll be raiding the archives later to see just how far from the ‘truth’ my traded copies actually were.

  3. It sounds pretty good for an audience recording. Of course, not much can compare to Montreux 1990 which is one of the best out there. The CD cover you have is a completely different show. Thanks for posting. Bruce

  4. Thanks for the heads up on the cover. I’m gonna leave it as I don’t have another one. When I don’t already have one I just google image search. This must have hit with van and Edinburgh and the type is too small for me to really read so I just assumed it was correct. Oh well, its the music we want, right?
