  1. Cheers Mat

    Looks interesting

Just seen some interesting jgb/legion of mary shows newly posted in g101 lossless – single ff links so very ‘getable’

  2. It was at alpine 86 or 87…a whole week long party… Dead, Dylan, petty….and my eggel McBagel sandwiches I was selling…at the end of the week, I removed the 5×5, blue & white steal your face banner & the even larger American flag, which I had seen together to completely wrap around tent & I wrapped it all around me & declared myself “captain dead giveaway”, (uh.. I think because in my mind, the dead was giving it away, lol!). Then, finally I sat down on the ground, cross legged, and trying to get it into my head that it was over…..and I looked down & there between my legs, was a cassette tape in a cover. It said “legion of mary” w/no other ID. I had no idea what that was as I hadn’t yet heard of them. I thought I found some secret sacred tape, lol. When I got home & listened, how cool!! Jerry doin motown! No Internet so it took me awhile before I figured out who/what legion of Mary was. It wasn’t until many yrs later that I found a set list to match what I had, online. I think it was from the Bottom Line in new york. I think maybe there’s a sbd available? I still have the tape. It sounds great. It was a “dead giveaway”…

  3. Rely enjoying this show. A major difference from some of the sluggish shows earlier in the year. AUD lover here! Thnx again for sharing the fine tunes.
