The musical parts from the film “The Schooner” are rare material. It’s the soundtrack for an Irish TV production broadcast in February 1983. With Van playing guitar, piano, and saxophone, as well as singing, it’s a beautiful, evocative score of the Irish coast.

    Thank you for this one – Van fans might be interested in the 11 minutes of bonus tracks here. From the notes:
    “The musical parts from the film “The Schooner” are rare material. It’s the soundtrack for an Irish TV production broadcast in February 1983. With Van playing guitar, piano, and saxophone, as well as singing, it’s a beautiful, evocative score of the Irish coast. A new transfer of the whole soundtrack recently surfaced. The musical parts were linked together and remastered , you’ll find them here as bonus tracks”.
