monicasdude:
Complete soundboard recording of the Monterey show in outstanding quality. Dylan’s vocals are crystal clear, the recording is perfectly balanced and the performance is exceptional. You can hear every little nuance of voice and instrument and that’s really all you can ask for with a Dylan show. The setlist is great, to. The excellence continues unabated with a wonderful selection of filler tracks All very good to excellent quality audience recordings. Needless to say, a prime candidate for Disk of the Year.
bobsboots:
Perfect quality soundboard recording from a great show. Vocals are crisp, clean and up front. Excellent mix of instrumentation, with no background audience noise. The filler material is audience recordings, but they are great as well. Very worth while disc. One of the best of the 1995 tour. The cardboard slip case has a well done, albeit not too flattering cartoon caricature of Bob on the front.
Olof Björner’s Yearly Chronicles:
Concert # 679 of The Never-Ending Tour. Concert # 13 of the 1995 US Spring Tour. Concert # 39 in 1995.
Concert # 223 with the 9th Never-Ending Tour Band:
Bob Dylan (vocal & guitar), Bucky Baxter (pedal steel guitar & electric slide guitar),
John Jackson (guitar), Tony Garnier (bass), Winston Watson (drums & percussion).
I’d love an upgrade.
