  1. Cheers Mat,

Looks like another nice addition. Over the years I’ve seen lots of multi-volume Spanish boot sets (sometimes spanning many years) for other artists incl Bob. Not sure why this phenomenon is unique to Spain. Sorry but I haven’t seen the other vols either.

All the details for vols 1-5 are here. Can anyone make any sense of it? Cant see any links myself and it’s not a board i use

    1. It appears to be a trading Vine of a VM DVD. I belonged to a dylan trading Vine in the late ninties. Back when using snail mail for trading was the norm. The Web Page would announce a collection of Dylan trading material. I would sign up for a specific release that i wanted. Then i would send blank cdrs and a self addressed envelope with stamps to the person offering the material. The person offering the material would burn and send the cdrs back to me. I would commit to being a branch of the vine which means that i would offer to burn the material for other collectors if they sent me blank cdrs and postage. Usually i would offer to duplicate the cdrs 5 times. The original person would offer to send his dylan material lets say to 5 people. This way the cdrs would be sent and copied by many people and would take the duplication burden off of the person offering the original material. The above forum post is old but i think this is how they were distributing this VM dvd..

      1. Thanks Thrak. Oh gosh, I remember doing a million vines back in the day. I was a big fan on thephilzone site as they just send the original disks down along the vine so all you had to do was copy it and then mail the originals to the next person. Sure, some people just kept the dang disks but usually it moved along nicely and you didn’t have to deal with return postage and all that.

Not that I didn’t do plenty of B+Ps back in the day. Sometimes I miss the days of snail mail packages.
