This is the infamous “Bottom Line” show, or “Citizen Kane Junior Blues” show, because of the way Neil introduces “Pushed it over the edge”. Apparently Ry Cooder was to play the gig, and Neil played unannounced. This has been described as “The mother of all bootlegs” by people on the rust list…

More info:

No idea who recorded it, but here’s how I got it:
Received by Johnny in trade, converted to FLAC, uploaded to me.

“Ry Cooder appeared at the Bottom Line on May 15 and 16, 1974.
After the late show, the audience gets a special treat when Neil Young,
who is at the show to see Cooder, becomes so inspired that he does a special one hour acoustic guest set after Cooder”

  1. Download also contains bonus track 13. Flying On The Ground Is Wrong, recorded live at the Carnegie Hall in New York on December 5, 1970. As on the original boot.
