Comments from the original uploader:Another HUGE thanks to Floater for sharing his source tapes!”Cats Down Under The Stars” Was missing from his tape added from my first generation copy. The “Cats Down Under The Stars” was from another master from a Toshiba deck with internal mics which was all copied from Mr. Baker’s master’s and the Toshiba master shortly after the show to my tapes. The beginings of “My Sisters and Brothers”, “Lay Down Sally” and “Shining Star” are all missing a short amount of music. This source was recorded by Mr. Baker and most
likely the D6 source tapes patched out of the D5.My first generation tapes were from the Mr. Baker’s source tapes which no longer exists,so these will be the only exisitng masters that I am aware of From Mr. Baker’s recording.Funny but my first generation tapes sound a bit brighter than these source tapes, making me believe that Mr. Baker’s copies were from the D5 and this copy was recorded with the D6.My first generation tapes
are on Maxell XL II-s and I may still circulate them as well.
As always Enjoy!

  1. Enjoy indeed! These November 91′ shows are great. Jer is in better shape and playing well. The upcoming March release Garcialive 8 release will feature an uncirculated board of 11/23/91..good JGB here, thanksMatt

      1. It seems I neglected to put the track numbers into iTunes when I loaded it in. You should be able to add them into whatever you use to play the MP3s and that should sort it out. If it doesn’t let me know and I can reupload it with the track numbers in.

  2. A long shot request, but my first JGB show was at the Knick, 11/3/93, about 2 years after this show. I once had very poor-quality cassettes of the show, but who knows where they ended up over the years. Anyone know if that show circulates in decent quality? Would love to try and re-live that night. . . .

    1. I do have that show. From three different sources actually. I’ll give them all a brief listen and try to figure out which one sounds the best. Then I’ll upload and post. Give me about a week to do all that. If you don’t see it next week drop me a reminder.

    1. That was a fortuitous choice to make “Shining Star” the sample, as it was my wedding song (in fact, we gave the band an old JGB bootleg to show them how we wanted it to sound). Thanks again!
