Thanks for filling some lossless gaps in the euro 95 tour Mat. Possibly the most interesting leg of the TRULY never-ending ’95 tour.
This period 94-96 always makes me think of Beefheart in 74/75., solid roots rock, but without the edginess that certain elements of the fan base look for. I’ve seen both heavily critiqued, unfairly in my opinion. My biggest issue with this tour/leg is Bob attempting to compensate for this relative ‘blandness’ in the acoustic set, with overlong and overly ellaborate arrangements of certain songs. Gilding the lily, so to speak
I love this album! Boots of Spanish Leather is out of this world, in my opinion. Have played it plenty over the years
