  1. I saw the Seattle show at the end of August and it was one of the best, well-thought out shows that I’ve ever seen!!! It was more than just a concert….

  2. Surely one of the strangest tours ever. I’ve watched the TV broadcast show from my traded VHS rec a few times over the years. Was that Dayton, OH from mem. The ‘Pinks’ set always seems to be tagged on to the end of an otherwise typically classic Neil show like one of those suburban houses which suddenly turns into Santa’s grotto for 2 months every year around this time!
Of course it may have all seemed different actually at the gig. It’s often like that, tapes tell us a story (thank God), but never the whole story.

  3. I didn`t see Neil during his Shocking pinks period. A friend of mine told me he went to the Philadelphia Spectrum to see Neil. Neil played a safe show of familiar numbers. He went offstage and returned to do a Shocking Pink set. The crowd was hostile and started to boo Neil off the stage. Neil finished the show with other safe numbers. I wonder if a tape of the Spectrum show exists.
