Thank you. I was at these shows. Wonderful to see the boys in this epic mountain community. So many great memories. I can still hear the sound of the big bass drum echoing off the canyon walls during Fire On The Mountain. And that endearing moment at the the end of day 2 when Jerry completely blows the intro to Brokedown Palace, stops the song and laughs at his mistake and starts it over. We were just so happy to have him back and playing on two magnificent summer days in the Colorado High Country.
It was so obvious that Jerry was in F and everyone else was in the usual start of Brokedown > G! And then they stopped playing and, for a split instant, there was absolute silence — everyone (the band included) was, like, WTF!! And then everyone (including the band) just cracked up in laughter! “Endearing” is the perfect word for that moment!
thanks
