I was at this concert. Went with a buddy who was very disappointed. Where was Powderfinger, Heart of Gold, Old Man etc;
I personally loved it, even though only a couple of the Bluenotes tunes were vaguely familiar at the time. Most of my bands sucked ass in the 80’s, and some would say the same about Neil, but I loved the way he reinvented himself on every album through that decade.
And by that I mean thanks a lot for posting.
You are very welcome. I love this period of Neil. I mean, yea, not everything is really great, but I dig that he was trying new stuff and reinventing himself instead of rehashing his classic years
