Grateful Dead Cover Art

My old friend VinylThrak pointed out to me that the cover art for the Grateful Dead that I used to include with each posting is no longer available. The reason for this is that the site that I get most of my Dead shows from doesn’t include the art within the music folders, but has then set out separately. When I was doing individual show posts I would always include the available artwork in that post, but now that I’m just uploading the music I never even thought about the art.

So, I have downloaded all the artwork on that site and uploaded it to an Amazon Photos album which you can find here.

Unfortunately, it is not currently in any particular order so you’ll have to search around a bit to find what you are looking for. I’ll try to see if I can get Flickr to organize it by date or some such thing so you can more easily find the art for a particular show, but for now you’ll just have to poke around.

    1. Matt i tried to download the cover art folder but a box states that i need to use the desktop app since there are over 1000 files or the size is greater than 5gb. What app do i need?

        1. I tried the amazon photo app and there doesn’t seem to be anyway to link your Traders vault folder to the photo app. Since there are so many files in the folder it seems to surpass a free users ability to download the covers. 1000 files or 5 gb. I think the solution would be to download the covers a year at a time using the usual method. Flickr gives an error message when trying to click the arrow. Most likely because it would require a paid account. Nothing is easy.

          1. Well crud, I was hoping you could use the amazon app to get them. I guess Amazon doesn’t work like Mega and other file sharing services. Yea, I guess you’ll just have to do so many at a time. I’m sorry that’s so annoying.
