About three weeks ago I spilled a big glass of sweet tea all over my desk. It soaked a whole bunch of work papers and fell a little onto my keyboard. Exactly one week later I did the exact same thing. This time the keyboard got soaked. It was a wireless Bluetooth keyboard and as such, I didn’t have much luck cleaning it. Within a day the keys were sticking together making it nearly impossible to type with any efficiency.
Luckily I had an old wired keyboard laying around and I was able to plug it in and make good use of it. Then a couple of days ago I restarted my computer and suddenly the keyboard wouldn’t work. The computer wouldn’t recognize it no matter what I did. I purchased a new keyboard which should arrive in a couple of days. For now I am borrowing my wife’s keyboard.
The point of this dumb story is that over the weekend I was keyboardless and thus I didn’t do any blogging.
Stop drinking tea!!:)
Not a bad post for a person without keyboard :-). Wish you best of luck with the next one. A warning though: from bitter experience I can say that substituting tea with coffee will not be any better. Perhaps a tablet without a keyboard would do better 🙂
I’ve been banned from having beverages in my office 😀
You need a “sippy cup”. Lol
A late Happy New Year. Hope one is better then zero. Thanks for the shows.
Hahahah. Don’t give my wife any ideas 🙂
At least when it’s happened here I have an excuse, it’s booze. 😉 Thanks for everything you do Mat! And Happy New Year!
Here’s the worst “kick in the eye” start to the new year…… friend of mine on Christmas Eve…gets a 1000$ Sony laptop from his wife. Proceeds to down a few “holiday specials” while fumbling with new laptop. You think tea is sticky…..
Eggnog is worse. Shorted out right there. 1 and a half hours of usage…… way to start the new year!!!!
Oh man. Worst I’ve ever done is made a keyboard sticky. Shorting the whole thing out with eggnog is on a whole other level 🙂
Been there many times. We never learn do we LOL
