Notes/Flaws: A great recording of a great show! A brief dropout at the very beginning of Favela, minor mix/level issues here and there, minor tape degradation here and there, but none of it detracts from the listening experience (imho).
Notes from the anonymous seed provider: The 8/30/74 is slightly out of order when compared to Deadbase & my old analog copy. However, this came from Dick->my source->me, so I left it as-is. I have always really enjoyed this one & the upgrade took me 5 years to track down.
Thank you for this great show. Strictly speaking it is not “Legion of Mary” but the “Garcia-Saunders Band”. Legion of Mary had a fixed personnel of Garcia, Saunders, Fierro, Kahn and Ron Tutt (dms). This session has the great Paul Humphrey on drums; the version of the line-up with Humphrey present instead of Tutt was always billed as Garcia-Saunders.
