I attended this show. My ears are still ringing (easily the loudest show I ever attended). Neil and Crazyhorse were quite simply amazing this night (much better than the Rusted Garage show I saw in 1986 — which was also televised on Showtime). I remember talking to this poor couple who came to the show hoping to see mellow songs like “Heart of Gold,” “Sugar Mountain,” and “Old Man” (I first saw him play that kind of show at the Cow Palace in 1983). This was not the Neil they were accustomed to.
Sorry for the late reply, but thank you for the great story. That must have been some show.
