  1. t was Tuesday evening. my brother and I headed to Central Park to see The Band. opening for them was Bobby Weir with his band. it was the first time Bobby & his band were billed as Ratdog.

    it was a beautiful August night. not too hot. a cool breeze blowing thru the trees.

    it was a wonderful show.

    GDTS mail order had been sent for fall tour.

    when we got to Penn Station to head home, I picked up the latest issue of Relix.
